TeXtelmExtel Betatest 1995.09.26 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bugfixes: (1) Under Windows NT, the ampersand & character in command lines (for TeX format files) caused problems. (2) Small bug in Inverse Search removed. (3) TeXtelmExtel now recognizes Unix files (NewLine instead of CarriageReturn + NewLine) and converts them instead of producing ridiculously long editor lines. (4) DDE to open file now works even if TeXtelmExtel has to be started (Problem with modal info-dialog). Info-dialog is now "floating" and commands can be processed immediately. (5) TeXtelmExtel no longer crashes when a font for the editor window is not present. (6) The "Insert | Sectioning Hierarchy" command erroneously thought the \partition command means something like \part. (7) Some bugs in the Workplace function fixed. (8) TeXtelmExtel crashed when TeX was still running and TeXtelmExtel terminated. New Features: (1) "Auto-Indent" and "Remember Column" options for editor added. (2) "Toggle INS/OVR with [Ins]-Key" option for editor added. (3) OEM/ANSI Conversion is now optional. (4) Backup Files are now optional. (5) Foreground and background colors of selected text is now user-defineable. (6) Support for Hippocrates Sendoukas' WTeX. (7) WTeX and DVIWIN can be closed when TeXtelmExtel exits. (8) Recent files now have a leading number from 1 to 4 in the "File" menu to simplify opening via keyboard. (9) Built-in Spellchecker. Took a while ... (10) New "Complete Command" feature (Edit menu). (11) The Goto Line command now can recompute lines with src specials. (12) "Edit|Match" will now work with \label, \ref, \pageref, \cite and \bibitem, too. (13) Improved Help system now includes TeXtelmExtel's windows. (14) TeX soucecode can now be sent to a printer. (15) User-defined tools now have a "Filename only" option. (16) Improved context-sensitive Help now detects commands when the cursor is placed anywhere in them.
